A Brief Description

The main focus of my lessons is to, together, experience self empowerment through the beauty, strength and grace that African dance has to offer. It is a physical experience that moves and elevates our energy and emotions, bringing joy, a sense of liberation and pleasure into our lives.

In these lessons we will do the following….
* Body awareness exercises
* Movements based on West Coast African Dance as well as Contemporary dance
* Choreographic sequences / repetition
* Expressing through Voice | Singing and Chanting
* Circle of Celebration and Sharing
* Stretching and Relaxation.
~ Some of these lessons are supported by live music with the oh so talented Junior (André Duarte)and special guests ~
