WALK RETREAT: 5th One Day Nature Retreat

Every month Priya (Melinda) will take you for a beautiful journey into nature. Exploring the West Coast, and the beauty of the present moment. This day is to connect, with yourself, each other and nature. The day will be a mix of walking, mindfulness meditation, forest bathing (Shinrin-yoku), gentle yoga and a tasty lunch on a beautiful spot.
Mindfulness is the art of living in the present moment. To be here, now, with all that there is. This could be sounds, smells and views that will come along during the walks, but it can also be thoughts or feeling that might arise. Whatever we encounter this day, the invitation is to be fully with all there is. Through the tools of Mindfulness and the help of the beautiful nature you will experience a strong connection with yourself, from where you will find a deeper connection with the other and the world around you.
Experience with Mindfulness is not necessary, a basic level of fitness is required, in total we’ll walk every month around 10 km.
Priya’s dog, Jaya, will join the walk. If you like you could bring your dog, if it won’t distract you too much.
9.00 Arrival at the location (every month another part of the coast). Welcome drink.
9.15 Opening and a meditation to arrive together.
9.45 Warming up with mindful movement/gentle yoga (no need for any flexibility or experience, please bring a yoga mat if you have one)
10.45: break to get the things we need and fill the lunchboxes.
11.15 Start walking, sometimes we walk alone and in silence, other parts with the group or in connection with each other. There are breaks for snacks, meditation and enjoying the beauty the nature offers.
13.00 Lunch (The lunch will be vegan)
After lunch there is free time to be on your own, to write, to swim or to connect with others.
14.30 Walk and guided meditation on the way.
16.30 Arrival back at the start location. Closing with possibility to share
17.00 End of a beautiful day.

Priya is a certified Mindfulness Trainer and Yoga teacher. The last 3 years Priya guided groups with Dutch travelers along the West Coast, with the walkingretreat ”A Journey to NOW”. This Journey from Aljezur to Sagres (with different accommodations in between) have given Priya the chance to explore the amazing West Coast by foot and to get to know some little secrets of nature. She feels it is time to open the gifts of this retreat with more people, the One day Nature Retreats will be offered for everyone who loves nature, who likes to explore new things, is open for living more in the present moment and is ready to connect on a deeper level!
Included welcome drink, gentle warm up yoga session, guided meditations, guided walk, healthy vegan lunch on a beautiful spot.
Early Bird: If you book before 25th of December it is 25 euro.
